Project feed, files, and team
Available on the Business plan.
The Feed — your project's story
The Feed tab is a single timeline mixing two things:
- Updates from your team — type into "Write an update…" and post. Progress notes, client calls, site conditions, decisions.
- Automatic activity — Velosiq logs the project's events for you: invoices linked, files uploaded, hours logged, change orders approved, members added, assets attached. The history writes itself.
Attachments: click the paperclip to attach up to 5 files per post, 20 MB each — photos (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC), PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets, CSV, and text files. Photos show as thumbnails that open full-size; documents appear as downloadable chips.
Posts can be deleted by their author, or by an owner or admin.
The Files tab — the project's document library
For files that belong to the project rather than a moment in the conversation — contracts, drawings, permits, final deliverables. Upload any file type up to 20 MB; each entry shows who uploaded it and when, and clicking downloads it.
Files are stored privately — they're only accessible to signed-in members of your business, never by public link.
The Team tab
Add team members to the project with:
- A role label — free text like "Project Manager", "Lead Tech"
- An hourly rate — the default rate suggested when they log time
The Team tab is the project's roster and rate card. (App-wide permissions are separate — see Team members and roles.)
